The 42nd Annual Optimist Charity Golf Tournament will take place at the prestigious Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin and will benefit the Sacramento Optimist Club Foundation with proceeds also going to The First Tee. Past beneficiaries of proceeds raised are listed below.

Our 40th annual charity golf tournament took place on Monday, April 18th, 2022

A perfect day welcomed 92 golfers to one of the best and most challenging golf courses in the area. Those golfers along with volunteers helped raise more than $7,000 for our charities; Keaton’s Childhood Cancer Alliance, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and Western Service Workers Association.

Thank you to our sponsors: Wells Fargo Financial Services, Moniz Family Wineries, Envoy Mortgage, Northern California Roofing, Goodspace High Performance Builders, Morgan Stanley, Jerry Dunn Insurance Services, Guzzetta Jewelers, Baird, O’Brien Employment, Scott Yuill – State Farm Insurance, Anderson CPA and Optimist member Ron Richey who sponsored the helicopter golf ball drop once again! Also a great deal of gratitude goes to our members who volunteered their day, representatives of Keaton’s Childhood Cancer Alliance and Western Service Workers Association who participated in our “hole in one” contests and above all, Catta Verdera Country Club who hosted our event. We look forward to seeing you next year!
